The Yee couple, Edward and Lucy, established Disneyland Bakeshop shortly after getting married in 1983. Mrs. Lucy Yee, a nutrition graduate, has a passion for gastronomic needs and even had a Snack Bar when she was still undergoing her college studies. With this interest, she has influenced her husband to venture into the food business. A few years later, Disneyland Bakeshop’s name was changed to what is now called--Cakestop, primarily producing high-quality decorated cakes and pastries. Through the years, the business has expanded and has several branches in major commercial centers and malls in Iloilo City. Amidst the entry of well-known bakeshops, Cakestop has maintained its loyal customers and has, in fact, established larger production facilities to meet future increasing market demand.
